Design and develop embedded firmware for cutting-edge technology products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure firmware solutions meet the desired outcomes. Conduct research and stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve firmware development processes. Write efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code for embedded systems. Debug and troubleshoot firmware issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions. Ensure compliance with quality standards and provide necessary documentation for firmware releases. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Continuously improve firmware development processes by implementing best practices and automation tools. Communicate project updates and progress to team members and stakeholders. Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and suggest innovative ideas to improve product performance and capabilities. Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with hardware components. Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality firmware within given deadlines. Mentor and train junior developers on firmware development best practices and industry standards. Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to provide valuable insights and ideas for product improvement.
